Day with P T Usha

A group of 55 students from Wity International School, Mumbai, reached the wonderland when they stepped into the dwelling of India's legendary athlete Olympian P T Usha here on Friday.

While the students watched the `museum' at Usha's home by whispering wow, marvelous, unbelievable, fantastic and wonderful, Usha in the role of museum guide answered the questions of the growing talents from Mumbai with her usual smile.

When the sprint queen of India murmered that she had bagged more than 800 national level medal and 102 international medals, the youngsters from Mumbai were left speechless and had nothing more to ask.

The students also got an opportunity to ask about the dreams of Usha regarding Usha School of Athletics. " My ambition is to fulfill my dreams through my students and I will watch tehm receiving medals, she said sharing her dreams. She also expressed her hope that her student Tintu Luka , who is the present Asian Junior Champion, will secure a medal in 800 meters in the 2012 Olympics.
